Why did I get involved with Grab Life by the Balls:

A few big changes in my life left me with plenty of spare time and not many people to share it with. Through Grab Life, I've met a stack of great blokes, and the best thing is that a lot of that mateship goes well beyond just the meetups.

Volunteering at various events has also given me the opportunity to give back to the community and make a real difference in people's lives, which is incredibly rewarding.

Grab Life is also growing quickly and helping more and more men to connect and not feel isolated in their community. I experienced that first hand when I moved to the Sunny Coast and didn't know a single person.

There are a lot of men in the same situation, and that kind of loneliness can be tough. These days, I have a great bunch of mates around me, and I am living my best life.

So...don't wait....come along and Grab Life By The Balls. You won't regret it.

Why is Mateship important to you:

To me, it goes beyond the typical thing a mate might do, like helping out with a trailer for a tip run, etc. It's the deeper connection of knowing that someone has your back in the tough times. Having someone independent of the rest of your life who will just sit and listen without judgment when you need to get something off your chest. It's the feeling of knowing that you don't have to face life's struggles on your own and that you have mates who will support you. The other side of it is having someone to do stuff with, like go fishing, go to the footy, or just chill and have a beer. That positive accountability to get you off your backside and out and about doing stuff.

I'm just grateful for any meal I have, but a good Asian or Indian style dish is a good start.
