EVENTS: Frequently asked questions
Events
We've got Grab Life By The Balls events happening across the Sunshine Coast, Queensland and increasingly around Australia. The easiest way to find your nearest event is to head to our Events page and search by location.
If there's not an event near you yet, let us know. We're always looking for great blokes to help bring the Mateship Movement to new communities.
Every event is a little different. We run coffee catch-ups, bacon and egg BBQs, burger nights, Friday Knock Offs and other social events throughout the week.
You'll find all the details, including the date, time and location, on the individual event listing.

Most Grab Life By The Balls events are completely free to attend.
Many of our catch ups are hosted by local cafés, breweries, restaurants and other businesses that generously provide a space for us to gather. While there's no cost to come along, we always encourage attendees to support our hosts by purchasing a coffee, meal or drink if they're able.
Supporting local businesses helps strengthen the communities we're building and ensures these great venues can continue welcoming us back.
Occasionally we run special events that require a ticket or registration fee, but this will always be clearly stated in the event information.
No, most of our events don't require registration and you're welcome to simply turn up on the day.
That said, we'd love it if you could RSVP—especially if it's your first time attending.
RSVPing helps us let the local Wingman know to expect you and gives them the chance to keep an eye out and make you feel welcome when you arrive.
It also means we can contact you quickly if there are any last-minute changes to the event.
Either way, whether you RSVP or simply show up, you'll be warmly welcomed. Come say g'day.
No.
Grab Life By The Balls is a charity focused on improving boys' and men's health and well-being through mateship and social connection.
We don't provide counselling or crisis support. Instead, we create opportunities for blokes to connect, build genuine friendships and strengthen their support networks through regular social events, workshops and programs.
If someone requires professional support, we encourage them to connect with an appropriate health professional or support service.
