Lachlan Wells Charity Shield

What a day Saturday was for the annual Lachlan Wells Charity Shield at Kawana Football Club It was an honour to be a part of such a significant day, where mates came together to show support for one of their own The day was a massive day for this club and their football community. With the miniroos kicking off the day, followed by the juniors, 23s, and then the men playing for the Lachlan Wells Charity Cup Where Kawana walked away with the cup against Gympie United Football Club

From assisting with set up, helping out with raffle tickets, keeping us hydrated and fed, all the while running a successful day of football... the support from the club and their community, as well as the support from Gympie United FC was tremendous!

We are blown away by the generosity of this club, Gympie United FC, and the football community as a whole. This day was a remarkable example of what we represent; the importance of mateship and the significant impact it has in the lives of boys, young men, and men.

With the $2809 raised from the day, we will use this to put back into our grassroots program and towards our continued goal of providing laid back events nationwide for all men. We also have a youth program in the works, and these funds will provide a massive impact in getting that off the ground. Thank you, Kawana FC, Gympie United FC, Lachie's parents Ross and Genene, all business and individual raffle prize donations, and of cause, the football community for your support ! Also, a massive congratulations to all prize winners.
