Lachie Wells Charity Shield 2026

Last Saturday,6th June 2026, we once again came together with Kawana FC for the annual Lachie Wells Charity Shield.

This year’s Shield was contested between Kawana FC and Maroochydore FC, with the match finishing in a hard-fought 2 all draw.

Lachie was a member of the Kawana FC football club who lost his battle with mental health. Each year, this incredible club comes together not only to remember Lachie, but also to highlight the importance of mateship, connection, and supporting one another.

As always, we were absolutely honoured to be involved in Kawana FC’s annual Lachie Wells Charity Shield.

The day featured a full schedule of junior matches, with raffles run throughout the day, followed by the Under 23s before the Charity Shield, which kicked off at 6 pm. It was a fantastic day of football, community spirit, and mateship.
