This amazing wing woman is our all-rounder/ Social Media Manager

Why I got involved:

As a mum of three amazing young men, I can see and understand just how important positive men’s health and mental health is.

With a background in education and administration in aged care — working across both school environments and aged care facilities — I’ve seen firsthand the importance of males of all ages having a space where they can connect, feel supported, and build genuine connections.

After my middle son lost two mates to suicide, and our family also losing a male cousin to suicide, I became more passionate than ever about making a real difference in reducing the statistics around boys’ and men’s suicide.

For me, it’s about creating spaces where boys and men know they are seen, valued, supported, and never alone.

What does mateship mean to you:

For me, mateship means creating a non-judgmental space between friends/mates, where everyone feels free and comfortable to simply be themselves. It’s about showing up for each other, supporting each other, asking the hard questions, being brutally honest when needed, and encouraging one another to grow as individuals.

Real mateship is built on trust, authenticity, and respect.
